Dangote Refinery has said it has reduced the price of a liter of petrol to N899.50 ahead of the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The refinery’s spokesperson, Anthony Chiejina, said the price reduction was to reduce the cost of transportation for the public during the year-end festivities.
In November, the private refinery also reduced the price of a liter of petrol to N970.
He said, “To facilitate transportation during the year-end holidays, Dangote Refinery has started selling petrol at a reduced price. From today, petrol will be sold at N899.50 per liter from our refinery.”
Chiejina stressed that the refinery is committed to ensuring that Nigerians are provided with quality and affordable petrol.
