Power outage Six times in one year

Power outages are a common problem in Nigeria, but in 2024, the entire northern region experienced a prolonged blackout.
This incident happened during a national crisis triggered by soaring fuel prices.
The region lost electricity for ten days after the main power grid was disrupted three times in just two days due to a fault.
As a result, daily life and the economy fell into turmoil, leading to significant losses of food and other essential goods amounting to millions of naira.
Tragically, there were also reports of deaths in hospitals linked to the power outages.
